I hopped in my car early one morning this week and noticed the air actually had a touch of coolness to it. The car's thermometer read 74 degrees, rather being over 80. It felt so nice I even skipped running the air conditioning and drove to the office with the windows down. It looks like the mercilessly hot and humid days of Floridian summer are now numbered. I look forward to the cooler weather to come in a month or two -- at least it will be cool in the evenings. We've also managed to dodge hurricanes in what's looking to be another quiet storm year, although the season isn't close to over yet.
But at least fall will be here soon, and more pleasant weather will come with it in this corner of the world. It's also time to pare back a few positions from our portfolio.
